The Norfolk Island Accommodation and Tourism Association (ATA) aims to represent the businesses which provide accommodation and services to visitors to the island, and to show you in this website some of the uniqueness of Norfolk Island, its history and people.
Norfolk Island has a wide range of AAA Tourism inspected accommodation, ranging from hotels, apartments, self contained cottages or villas and holiday homes. Norfolk Island accommodation ranges from 3 to 5 star in the various categories.
Throughout this website you will be able to see accommodation, hire vehicles, places to see, events to experience, fabulous dining and shopping, tours available, and gain a little prior knowledge of the history and culture of Norfolk Islands environmental heritage.
We aim to show many of the wonderful scenic experiences of Norfolk Island along with how you may explore the history and culture either in tour groups or on your own initiative. There are wonderful picnic areas from which to view the setting sun, or to survey the whole island from atop Mt Pitt, to see the glorious Pacific Ocean from clifftops with no land fall closer than South America or New Zealand or Lord Howe Island and Australia. Norfolk really is a scenic stopover in the vast pacific. Norfolk Island has magnificent swimming and surfing beaches, incredible snorkling reefs to explore, walking tracks through National Parks and sporting experiences with the locals.
Some parts of Norfolk Island, in particular, the Kingston and Arthurs Vale Historical area (KAHVA) have been accorded world Heritage status during 2011. This heritage area has some of the most magnificent Georgian buildings still in use today as administration centres and tourist experiences to visitors to Norfolk.
